REDFORD, MI- Cerberus Capital Management, the company that recently purchased Chrysler, has sold BLUE BIRD Coachworks and BLUE BIRD Wanderlodge to Complete Coach Works, of Riverside, California.

The sale by Cerberus makes news on the tail of their Chrysler acquisition and marks a new chapter for Blue Bird. Blue Bird and Complete Coach Works’ first order of business was to select an advertising agency to head up the company’s advertising efforts.

This honor went to DETROIT-AREA advertising agency WESTERN CREATIVE, INC. (www.westerncreative.com), which was named as Blue Bird Wanderlodge’s AGENCY OF RECORD on August 8, 2007.

Western Creative immediately began work on an integrated print advertising campaign and micro-site – a drive designed to renew interest in the Blue Bird brand, revive the brand’s legendary image and regain market share in the luxury motorcoach industry. The campaign will reach the public by mid-August, a week after Blue Bird Wanderlodge selected Western Creative.

The agency of record agreement also calls for Western Creative to develop future campaigns that may include print, media planning and placement, collateral materials, video, and web components.
