Detroit-area advertising agency Western Creative has once again wowed Telly Award judges. Answering the call for creative excellence, Western Creative added three more Telly Awards to their display case. Their 2007 haul includes one bronze Telly, and two of the highly coveted silver Telly awards.

Western Creative received the top awarded silver Telly in the categories of videography/cinematography and use of humor. Their Salon Grafix “Scrambled” spot was chosen for it’s excellent work in videography, while the Ocean Potion’s “Beach Lobster” starring game show legend Chuck Woolery amused the judges with it’s comedic relief. In addition, Western Creative received their bronze Telly in the category of beauty and cosmetics for the Salon Grafix “Scrambled” commercial.

The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. The Telly Awards were founded in 1978 and are widely known and highly respected national and international competition. They receive over 14,000 entries each year from around the world.

The judges for the Telly Awards are highly qualified advertising, production and other creative professionals. All judges are previous silver Telly winners and are responsible in upholding the historical standard of excellence the Telly represents.
