REDFORD, MI – In spite of poor economic conditions and the near collapse of the advertising industry within Michigan, Redford-based Western Creative, Inc. has finished 2009 with 57% growth. In addition, the firm is positioned to see similar growth for 2010.
WCi chairman, Mark Young, attributes the meteoric growth to several factors. “Most importantly, we focus on our clients’ success, knowing that if we can grow business for our clients, our success will follow. The firm does not pursue or serve the automotive industry; we focus on national consumer brands. We do not limit ourselves to the local economy and we focus on staying ahead of advertising trends and technology, and we pride ourselves in finding the creative and smart men and women that truly care about the work.”
2009 brought new clients to WCi, such as Service Corporation International, the nation’s largest provider of funeral, cremation and cemetery services (www.dignitymemorial.com) and Triumph Pharmaceuticals, makers of SmartMouth Mouthwash and SmartMouth products available nationwide (www.smartmouth.com), to name a few. Beyond new business acquisition, a vast majority of WCi’s clients have seen tremendous growth in 2009, even though their categories experienced a steady decline. WCi recently expanded their national footprint in October of last year by opening a branch office in the Chicago area.
