REDFORD, MI- Western Creative, Inc. Chairman Mark Young has accepted a one-year appointment on the board of directors for the Grand Rapids-based World Mission.

World Mission is a non-profit organization that operates around the world providing food, medicine and education to Third World countries. In addition, World Mission distributes thousands of pre-recorded Bibles to illiterate individuals in their native languages.  The organization currently has the New Testament recorded in over 50 languages and dialects.

Young was elected to the board for his knowledge and skill in advertising and promotions. He will work with the organization to raise public awareness of the group‚s work.
